GP01: Test Surfaces

Going through the motions of surfacing and almost done with rigging. Playing around with the sensors a bit until I get them where I want them to be. I think I'll make the other gun as well.

GP01: Waist 1

Might as well. Starting the waist. Using the GFF GP01 as reference, the rear section has a weapons holder similar to that of Katoki's Rx-78-2 and GM Command.
Anyway, the start of the waist...

GP01: Body 2

Having problems with the wings pivoting in correctly so that they fit in the rear backpack, but otherwise, not too much left to do on the body. The vents in the front need to be changed though so that they are not the same as the vents for the core fighter.

Knocking it out. Forgot some things on the face. The red (sensor?) on the vcrest needs to be back a bit farther and I need to drop the head cam more. The helmet could look busier too...

GP01 Zephyranthes

And so the start of the GP01, my all-time favorite Gundam. Not really much on the frills or power department. More or less like the original Gundam in a lot of things except style, even though it's kept sort of simple.

So the usual head shot after a little work. It's basically there, but I need to smooth out all the bits and bobs and add some detail.

Feel like giving up.

I feel like giving up ....
but I put together a quick Archangel to try out some lights.

edit: I felt like giving up because after calculating the time it would take to render out the movie, I found that the total time required (250 - 300 hours) was a bit longer than I had expected and after numerous attempts to keep the per-frame render time down, my labor was yielding pitifully small results. I've finally alleviated the problem however by removing my machine from the rendering arena and placing that in the hands of outsourced agents, a network renderfarm. The cost is relatively managable and the returns are far quicker. I don't plan on quitting the project. I apologize for the mix up. (Thank you for the comments, however)

Destiny-Impulse Custom: Trial 1

Testing out some colors for the Custom Destiny-Impulse that I conjured up. Doesn't look like the Destiny-Impulse that's in the manga really. Kind of skewing the direction a bit. I think I'll go back to the standard Destiny Gundam colors.....

Strike Gundam: IWSP Shield

Most of the "Combined" shield, a multipurpose attachment that allows for offensive and defensive capabilities: The mounted Gatling and removable beam boomerang are the offensive side. The concept is very similar to that employed by the Gouf Custom, except that there is no beam boomerang for the Gouf and the IWSP Gatling doesn't appear to be removable.
